This style will be more clearly understood and intensely so depending on the ratio of old to new. The colour scheme may include a variety of vivid colours, muddy muted neutrals, or a monochromatic pattern in the style of the 1960s.

Modern Classic usually interacts with Victorian, English, and French designs, and it also fits well with Tuscan, rustic, and country cottage themes.
